Motor Milestone Assistance

Are you concerned that something seems 'off' with your child's movements? Maybe your pediatrician mentioned that your child might be ‘behind’ in their motor skills. These concerns could include difficulty with tummy time, a preference for w-sitting, a preference to look in one direction, head flattening, or delays in rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, and more.

At Movevery, we address these challenges with a holistic approach, combining purposeful play, age-appropriate activities, and specialized manual therapy and bodywork. Our goal is to promote symmetry, strength, coordination, and mobility while empowering you as a caregiver. Together, we’ll celebrate every milestone—big or small—on your child’s journey to confident movement.

Developmental Guidelines to Watch For:

Here are some general milestones to guide you:

  • Tummy time: Enjoying it by 2 months

  • Rolling: By 5-6 months

  • Crawling: By 9-10 months

  • Pulling to stand: By 12 months

  • Walking: By 16 months

If your child isn’t meeting these milestones—or if you feel something is off—trust your instincts. Development is a continuum, and pediatric physical therapists specialize in movement and gross motor skills. At Movevery, we’re development experts and always here to help your child thrive.

We first started working with Dr. Nicole when Zoe was 9 months old. She was not rolling, crawling or sitting unassisted so I had concerns about Zoe’s overall gross motor development. Dr. Nicole took the time to understand her medical history and evaluate any tension she may have had in her body. She was extremely thorough during our sessions and provided guidance on exercises/stretches to implement in between sessions, aligned with Zoe’s development at the time. Within just a few weeks, Zoe progressed meaningfully. She was rolling both ways, crawling, getting to a sitting position, pulling to stand and even taking a few steps! Ever since she’s been able to move her body more, she’s been so much happier, all thanks to Dr. Nicole!
